November 2011-
My Niece's fourth Birthday.
I decided to have a bit of fun and experiment with this one. Once I had the design for the card I cut out the shape of the number four from the picture. It was then glued onto thick cardboard, which had been cut out into the same shape and placed onto the card. Cutting out some scraps of coloured card, I lined the sides of the number. The rest of the picture was placed in its respective position on the card.
Materials include; Coloured card, Cardboard box (for the number '4' base), paper.
Approximate time: Drawing the design- 3hr
Colouring- 1 1/2 hr
Putting it together- 3 hr
This was incredible to make and the result paid off. There were some things I could have saved time doing and I shall learn from that. Above all else, I am proud of the finished product.

Is the inspiration for another 21st Card design. I liked the eyes and the colours for her lips and eye shadow.
